An Invisible Thread

I make these little tokens … bright scraps of color, layered with care, stitched with a message that says you matter.

For the past seven years I have been giving them to the everyday heroes we often don’t spare a thought for: restaurant dishwashers, grocery clerks, custodians, crossing guards.

  • A small handmade gesture.

  • A simple note.

  • A moment of connection.

That’s it.

But something shifts. A smile widens. A posture softens. A spirit lifts.

Post-pandemic, I hold these moments closer.

We all carry unseen weight. And sometimes, the smallest thing: a smile, a thank you, a handmade token, reminds us that we’re not alone.

There’s an invisible thread between us. Every time we reach out, it tugs gently.

A reminder that we belong to each other.

  • So, make eye contact.

  • Say thank you.

  • Offer a bit of yourself.

It doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day, yours included.
