Make something honest
When I make these little tokens, I’m not chasing perfection. I’m practicing presence.
Over the last seven years, I’ve handed out thousands — to baristas, nurses, janitors, bus drivers.
Not once has anyone critiqued the sketchy lines or clashing colors.
No one cared if the flower petals were uneven.
What they saw was care. What they felt was gratitude.
A handmade token says:
I noticed you.
You matter.
That’s all it takes: A small gesture. A quiet offering. And a ripple is formed.
So, if you’re waiting to feel ready, to be good enough, to make something perfect … please don’t.
Make something honest. Make it with love. And give it away.
You’ll light up someone’s day. And it will change yours, too.
