A Ripple Maker at Heart
I'm Mansi (pronounced: Maan-see), a writer, artist and ripple maker.
In a day and age where people have come to values speed and scale over presence and intentionality, I am choosing to slow down and forge meaningful connections. Snail mail over quick texts. Long emails over cursory “likes.” Real conversations over AI-generated check-ins.
Living in the heart of Silicon Valley, surrounded by the buzz of innovation and the glow of screens, choosing presence feels radical but also essential.
What began as a spur-of-the-moment sharing of appreciation tokens with strangers has blossomed into a daily practice of gratitude. Whether it’s through these tokens, the heartfelt conversations they inspire, the vulnerable and deeply personal storytelling in my essays, or intimate gatherings in the form of The Ripple Room, I aim to help people feel seen and valued.
My upcoming book, Little Tokens of Love, Big Ripples of Happiness (2026), delves into the transformative power of small acts of kindness. It’s a reflection of my belief that even the tiniest gestures can create waves of positive change.
Mansi Makes is not just my little corner on the Internet. It’s an invitation for you join me in a space where we can make time together to pause, connect, and remember what matters most.
Let’s practice kindness and presence together, creating ripples that resonate far beyond our immediate circles.
Listen up.
If you've ever wanted to know anything about me, my journey, the childhood wounds that made me the person and artist I am, give this podcast a listen.
This is the deepest, most honest, most raw sharing I have ever done, so please know there is a fair amount of vulnerability and darkness but also, hopefully, something you can draw courage and inspiration from.
