In-Between Moments

Waiting rooms. Grocery lines. Pickup lanes. Most people reach for their phones.

I reach for my portable watercolor kit.

This morning, while my daughter was in tutoring, I sat quietly and made gratitude tokens for vendors at the farmer’s market we’d visit later.

This isn’t an act to please the algorithm; simply an act of presence.

These in-between moments don’t have to be empty. They can be filled:

  • with intention

  • with color

  • with kindness

This is the theme we’ll be exploring together in April’s Ripple Room. No art skills needed—just a willingness to practice presence.
