The Alchemy of Offering

What happens when art transcends mere decoration? My tokens—whether they’re simple watercolor sprays of flowers or layers of collaged expression—aren’t just a pursuit of creative satisfaction. They’re alchemical objects, transmuting ordinary moments into sacred exchanges.

They’re part poetry, part mixed media art, part experimentation—but always created with my whole heart.

These tokens aren’t scraps or discards—they’re intentional works of art that I’ve poured my time, energy and spirit into. Each one carries a piece of me.

Whether a grocery store clerk or crossing guard or a barista appreciates the labor behind them doesn’t matter. They recognize something genuine made specifically for them—a moment of human connection, eye contact, a conversation—in this busy, blur of a world.

When I give these to someone I’m not expecting accolades (the process of creating these already gives me a whole lot of joy).

In fact, I’m not expecting anything but in the last seven years of doing this, I always end up richer: with smiles, hugs and tearful stories of feeling seen.

Perhaps this is why the word “MAGICAL” found its way onto this particular token. These creations don’t merely represent presence—they manifest it, pulling both me and recipient into the only moment that truly exists: this one, right now.
