Paper + Presence
Jeannie Ewing and I are quietly beginning something called Paper + Presence—a handwritten story exchange rooted in slowness, reverence, and human connection.
It’s not a call for content.
It’s not a project optimized for clicks.
It’s an invitation.
In a time of swipes and scrolls, we’re making space for paper, for memory-keeping and for real mail.
This August, we’ll be inviting a small circle of thoughtful humans to receive a handcrafted token and a prompt in the mail.
What they return to us won’t be content. It will be memory. Presence. A piece of themselves.
The stories will live in a quiet corner of the internet we’re building together. But more than that, they’ll live in envelopes, in handwriting, in our hearts.
This is not a project for scale.
It’s a project for soul.
For now, this is just a soft announcement that something thoughtful is underway.
One envelope. One story. One person at a time.
